We have one of our family's motor coaches here in Oregon with us, the Winnebago-Mercedes View 23J, a superb smaller motor coach built on a Mercedes chassis. We sought out this particular coach for its fuel efficiency, famous Mercedes quality, huge slide out room and nimble driving so we can enjoy (and afford!) our wildly twisting, very challenging coastal roads such as US Hwy1 and US Hwy101. Our View features a Mercedes turbo diesel engine and automatic transmission, sleeps 4 (or 5 but its snug!), and has a great kitchen and dinette seating four.

The advantage of the View...the reason we were first attracted to this, is the outstanding fuel economy of the coach! We've been averaging between 17-19 miles per gallon, and this has made RV travel practical again for us. Those big bus RVs you see on the road get between only 5-7 MPG so driving our View is like fuel costing a third to a half of what it does, thanks to the View's fuel-sipping efficiency! So...see twice as much of America for your money!

Another advantage touched on above has been the unit's nimble driving...ideal for the twisting, turning Oregon coastal roads as well as the countless small, inviting campgrounds offered by the National Park Service, the US Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management...places we could never hope to get a larger coach into yet we can enjoy to the fullest and in superb comfort, in our View.

The 2007 View is unlike any other small motor coach. Setting it above all others is the Mercedes chassis and turbo diesel engine. It also has a full slide, color backup camera, automatic transmission and cruise control, color GPS with traffic alert, a separate commode & shower room, a rear bed, and a bed over the front cab area. The dinette makes into a bed for a smaller person or a couple of kids.

The View rents for $245-295 per day, less on certain occasions, but $295-350 for holidays such as July 4, Memorial Day and Labor Day. We are happy to discount for longer rentals.

Our View has a propane generator for electrical power whenever you're not plugged in, and also has solar panels on the roof to help maintain the batteries for lots of lights, water pumps, television and more. There is full air conditioned comfort! Your entertainment is provided by a 20" LCD flat panel and DVD player, plus a AM/FM/CD/MP3 player on the dash and in the cabin an AM/FM/CD/DVD/MP3 player with wall speakers...super quality!

All the essential features of the larger coach and even more...but not as much size so you can enjoy driving our Oregon coast roads. And you can enjoy mile after mile at a wonderful 17-19 miles per gallon! Great fun to drive!
