In the summer of 2010 we expanded our fleet with the Southwind 36D motor coach. This is a special high-end unit representing the best of the gasoline-powered RV industry. Features of this model include auto-tracking digital satellite, satellite radio, bath-and-a-half, washer/dryer, outside entertainment center, fine wood cabinetry, china fixtures, driver's side as well as center coach main entry doors, generators, dual air conditioners/heat pumps, solar panels, and sleeps up to six travelers.
The 36D, unlike other gasoline-powered coaches, features tremendous living space thanks to its industry-leading full wall slide. Sure to meet the most demanding travelers' requirements!
Our Southwind coach is available for $275-355 per day, less on certain occasions and $305-400 for holidays such as July 4, Memorial Day and Labor Day. We are happy to discount for longer rentals. NASCAR events are welcome, but there is a higher $1500 security deposit and often, special pricing.
The coach has its 5.5KW generator delivering ample electrical power (for the television, microwave, hair dryer, air conditioners) whenever you're not plugged in. Even without the generator, you have power for water pump, lights, 12v. outlets and. There is full air conditioned comfort! Your entertainment is provided by a 36" HDTV in the front, an HDTV in the bedroom and DVD recorder/player, plus a AM/FM/CD/MP3 player on the dash and in the cabin a BOSE AM/FM/Aux player...super quality! The coach televisions have been upgraded for digital broadcast reception. There is a small inverter to power your laptop using the 12v outlets, and plenty of outlets to charge your cell phone and PDA. The outside entertainment center is also an HDTV.
Some of the extras we've positioned include a multifunction copier/printer, Keurig pod coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, french press coffee maker, new pots and pans, DVD collection, wireless weather station with atomic clock, color GPS with MP3 player, books, maps, binoculars, digital camera (in case you forgot yours,) new glassware, sleeper sofa, new dishes and new linens...all installed in July 2010 for your (and our) traveling comfort!
All the essential features of the largest coaches and even more...but not as much size so you can enjoy driving our Oregon coast roads. Great fun to drive! Sorry, no pets and no smoking.
We have optionally available an iMac 24 for $100 per day, an LCD video projector for $125 per day, a Day-Lite presentation screen for $25 a day, and other business items. If you need them, you're welcome to borrow at no cost our 5-gallon water jugs, our 5-gallon gas can, playing cards, board games, rice cooker, bread machine, Crock Pot, iron & ironing board, extra television or DVD player, a blue dump tank, MP3 player, CDs, local guide books, a bike rack for the rear ladder...anything we have in the house you're welcome to use.
We can arrange delivery and pickups anywhere in the East or Southeast, although all rentals are arranged and contracted in Oregon.
No "Burning Man" use is allowed!
